Arab Organization for Industrialization Enhances Localization of Advanced Defense Technologies in Cooperation with Chinas Shadow Wing
As part of Egypt’s strategy to localize advanced technologies and strengthen national manufacturing capabilities, the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chinas Shadow Wing, a company specializing in advanced defense technologies and related industries.
The MoU was signed on behalf of AOI by Major General Engineer Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman, Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.
Lieutenant General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, emphasized the strategic importance of this cooperation with the Chinese company. He noted that the partnership aims to localize advanced defense systems manufacturing technologies and leverage the sophisticated production capabilities available at the Aircraft Factory, chaired by Major General Engineer Mohamed Awad.
He further stated that AOI aspires for its factories to serve as a regional hub for strengthening international partnerships, exchanging expertise, and transferring modern technologies, thereby meeting the needs of the local market as well as those of friendly and sister countries in the field of advanced defense industries.
